There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for , why it is here, it will instantly disappear , be replaced by something even more bizarre , inexplicable.There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

If we do discover a complete theory, it should be in time understandable in broad principle by everyone. Then we shall all, philosophers, scientists, and just ordinary people be able to take part in the discussion of why we and the universe exist.

There could be no fairer destiny for any physical theory than that it should point the way to a more comprehensive theory in which it lives on as a limiting case.

Even if there is only one possible unified theory, it is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe?

If the facts don’t fit the theory, change the facts.

The theory that can absorb the greatest number of facts, and persist in doing so, generation after generation, through all changes of opinion and detail, is the one that must rule all observation.

Because I believe that humans are computers, I conjectured that computers, like people, can have left- and right-handed versions.
